Cressida manual swap

 · I've searched but didn't find any information as to which transmissions will bolt up to a 5MGE bellhousing from a Cressida. Will the transmission in my 82 4x4 SR5 5 speed long box pickup work with the 5MGE swap? The donor car is a 84 Toyota Cressida Thanks. I think the swap for this car is a bit different from the x83, because the x83 never came with a manual option and the x73 had a small, small amount of factory manual cars. However, most did not opt for the manual because it was the 80's and the Cressida was a "luxury" car.  · the manual ECU is not required.
